WATER TREATMENT DIVISION

CBL provides a comprehensive selection of Ion Exchangers renowned for their exceptional quality and performance.

Our Offerings

Pre-Treatment

The concentration and size of suspended solids and dissolved matter in the feed water can vary depending on its source. The primary goal of the feed water pretreatment process is to enhance its quality to a level that ensures the reliable operation of downstream equipment. Tailored to specific treatment requirements, pre-treatment systems are designed to eliminate troublesome impurities initially. Methods such as coagulation are employed to remove fine suspended solids, colloids, or silt, while sparingly soluble salts like fluoride, silica, iron, etc., are addressed through the chemical precipitation method in pretreatment plants.

Membrane Based Systems

CBL has cultivated advanced expertise in the design, production, and delivery of a wide array of membrane technology products & systems. These include:

  • Reverse Osmosis Plants (RO)
  • Nano Filtration Plants (NF)

The widespread rise in salinity and the richness of low Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) water have led to the extensive adoption of membrane technology. These systems serve as valuable complements to Demineralization (DM) plants, particularly in the context of reverse osmosis and Nano filtration systems. These technologies are utilized for the removal of dissolved solids and find special applications, such as addressing hardness in high Total Dissolved Solids (TDA) water and fulfilling specific purification requirements. Reverse osmosis (Ro) and Nano filtration (NF) systems play a dual role, not only in the treatment of raw water but also in the processing of used water (effluent) for recycling and reuse purposes.

  • Ultra Filtration Plants (UF)

An excellent and sturdy system designed for RO pretreatment, UF plant technology is utilized to eliminate bacteria and provide filtration down to micron levels. These plants are also employed in polishing filters.

As membrane technology gains greater importance in the water treatment industry, CBL is committed to delivering efficient and eco-friendly purification solutions with minimal chemical usage. Our product portfolio includes Reverse Osmosis, Ultra Filtration Plants, Nano Filtration Plants, Water Treatment Systems, Containerized Water Treatment Plants, Water Purification Systems, and more.

Water Recycling System

Zero Liquid Discharge Systems (ZLD)

In an era where freshwater scarcity is a growing concern, industrial activities pose a dual threat to its availability unless proper measures are taken. These processes often utilize water, subsequently diminishing its availability for the environment or other essential processes. Alternatively, they discharge contaminated water, posing a risk to local ecosystems. Zero Liquid Discharge Plants (ZLD) represents an engineering solution to this issue, focusing on comprehensive water treatment. This approach ensures the recovery of all water used in industrial processes while reducing contaminants to solid waste.

While many water treatment methods aim to optimize freshwater recovery and minimize waste, ZLD stands out as the most challenging objective. The difficulties and costs associated with recovery increase as wastewater becomes more concentrated with salinity, scaling compounds, and organics. ZLD achieves its goal by integrating water treatment technologies capable of handling wastewater as contaminants are concentrated.

Zero Liquid Discharge Plants (ZLD) form a treatment process dedicated to eliminating all liquid waste from a system. The primary objective of ZLD is to economically reduce wastewater, producing clean water suitable for reuse, such as in irrigation. This not only saves costs but also benefits the environment. ZLD systems leverage advanced wastewater and desalination treatment technologies to purify and recycle nearly all produced wastewater.
